Hello again Lisboa! I flew in last night and realized how much I had missed the "ta bems" and the ancient look of the city.

The last couple of days have been filled with tapas. Vino tintos. Siestas. And strolls. It has been fantastical having so much time with Mary. And I am in absolute love with Madrid.

Today I leave Lisboa. Super sad and super excited at the same time. I'm going to miss the cobblestones. The boa tardes. The ta-bems! I'm going to miss the ocean.

I almost went to the Thyssen this morning (the third of the heavy hitter museums in Madrid) but I just couldn't. I needed to take the day to digest what I saw yesterday.

I spent the morning in heaven. Walking the streets of Barcelona ogling art. Gallery after gallery, all so conveniently placed mainly on one strip. The artwork i've seen today has been lovely and has most definitely gotten the creative wheels spinning.
