Bye Bye Norway.
Today I leave Norway. Secretly happy to leave the snow, endless layers of clothes, and ridiculously high prices. Secretly sad because it was so great to see a bit of the gang. Did I mention I finally got to meet THE Ula and Espen who I had heard about for so many years?
I admit, when I got there I was ready to hop back on a plane and fly somewhere that was not minus any degrees. But I am glad I stuck around. Mainly to fill the void of having the closeness of friends from back home.
I've missed it. Immensely. And while it's been a major player in my yearning for back home, when I listen to myself, really listen, I feel like I am right where I belong right now.
With that said, I saw some amazing art, thanks to Carina and Karen, and ate one of the top 10 burgers at Apoteke. Even got to eat at "Probably the best indian restaurant in the country." Had some delightful pecan pie topped with black cherry ice cream with a side of cider. A truffle burger for the books. And a night at Karen and Morton's filled with an unending amount of unimaginably delicious tapas and wine. And ended up waking up with a girl drawn on my belly. Bananas!
And I think my plan is working... It seems as though the gang is all about heading towards Spain which makes my heart smile. New York comes to Spain. Madrid. You have been warned...
