Miss Drepants is a creative human who loves making the heck out of things.

Miss Drepants began her creative endeavors at the tender age of 3 (shout-out to Montessori in Santa Teresa), where she started collaging and imitating a baby chick hatching from an egg. It was after coming to the States that she began to explore writing via poetry and painting. While known to spend hours performing solo interpretations of Turma do Balão Mágico records, it was the visual and written arts that captured her heart. ❤️

Being born in Rio de Janeiro to flower-loving hippies and creatives, and later growing up in the US, introduced a profound duality to Miss Drepants’ existence, which she carries to this day - the world seen through the eyes of a first-generation immigrant child whose otherness defines her.

Her insatiable curiosity and hunger for transformation feed her artistic juxtaposition that cha-cha’s between childlike wonder and resilient grit. She lives in the nooks & crannies of what it means to be an outsider - her artwork, an ode to the black sheep, rebels, and non-conformists through the eyes of ethereal inquisitiveness. ✨

Oils, acrylics, printmaking, collage, design, photography, pencil-to-paper - she’ll grab whatever it takes to bring her art to life. With concept as the priority, each piece chooses its own method of authentic expression.
