My body finally asked me for a day of rest. Of perhaps not walking around for a full 10 hours. And so, I listened. I hung out at the hostel and met some fantastic folks.

Enchanted. In love. Inspired. Overwhelmed. (In a good way.) Today I spent most of my day devouring the art of Madrid. Well. Starting with the museums.

Started off the day today at Cafe Zurich. Placa de Catalunya to one side. La Rambla to the other. I decided to scavenger hunt for the festivities associate with La Laia, a festival which happens to be taking place this weekend.

Got my bearings on the general layout of the area then set off to get lost. Wandered my way around past every type of shop imaginable and came upon Cafe Centric. Tapas. Vino. Cerveca. Cafe. Perfection.
