Lazy Day.

Miss Drepants Lazy Day

No really. Super lazy. My body finally asked me for a day of rest. Of perhaps not walking around for a full 10 hours. And so, I listened. I hung out at the hostel and met some fantastic folks.

I took a trip over to Montjuic for a walk around the park and to check out El Poble Espanyol, an outdoor museum of sorts. Set up inside of a palace, it was constructed as a way for people to get to know the various architecture, and arts of crafts associated with the different regions. And yes. I had handmade chocolate and a cafezinho for lunch. Mmmmmmm...

I wandered around Montjuic looking for the singing fountain. Never did find it. Perhaps it was not singing today. Perhaps I just wasn't looking that hard. I made my way back to the hostel, met up with the gang and off we went for a nightly frolic. We walked over to Sagrada Familia and ooooh-ed and aaaaah-ed. Took some silly photos. Jumped up and down and laughed a bit then made our way to a xixa bar where I tried hookah for the first time and learned how to dance Egyptian thanks to Mo' and Omer. Who knew? It's all in the shoulders...
