Yet Another Unexpected Turn.

Today I had a meeting with the director of a TEFL program and it gave me a bit of hope. With the studies that I would be undertaking if I get accepted into the program, they can help me to get a student visa in order to return to Spain. And I felt much more comfortable with this program than with the Celta course in Lisboa.

Though the student visa process takes a bit of time, it seems like the best option in order to return to Madrid for a bit. And while my heart has had a smile turned upside down for a few days, I am also trying to look at this as a good thing. A chance to see everyone. Get my fill of the gang, and right when New York is starting to become green again.

While at first I saw going back home as a step backward, I have now come to see that it is a process in my steps forward. WIth a light at the end of the tunnel. An opportunity to return and to finally take the course I had put off for the past couple of months.

Today or tomorrow I book my flight back home…
