Things Are Coming Together.

Yahooooooo! I've found a flat! After looking around all week and getting a bit bleh about what I was seeing I finally found a place in La Latina that clicked. Move in date. April 1st. My new flatmate seems super sweet and is a painter himself, with a studio in the apartment and tons of art adorning the walls. And while the 4th floor walkup didn't necessarily make my list of favorite things about the place, I think it'll be good. Yes legs, it will be good. La Latina is one of the artsier neighborhoods in the center of Madrid, full of bars, restaurants and energy, I would probably compare it to a Lower East Side or Greenwich Village or somewhere along those lines. A neighborhood full of distractions? Perhaps. But I also think it'll be great to live with someone who is making things, which is always something that keeps me on my toes and keeps me moving forward with my own artwork. And if that wasn't awesome enough, I have also received a call for an interview at a language school next week! Feels like things are pulling together…
