Getting To Madrid...
The past couple of days have been spent collecting myself and trying to figure out the best way to get to Madrid. I've put my flight to Brasil on hold and am deciding between flying or taking the all night train which would be cheaper sans all the luggage restrictions. I ran down to Ponto de Arte today to pick up a tabletop easel which I had been eyeing for the past month and after pricing them out in Spain and the US, found that good ole Lisboa had the best pricing. I also stopped in at the Pequeno Jardineiro, another place I stare at wooingly whenever I walk by, and picked up a bundle of beautiful flowers for the Serios to come home to. Had a chance to spend a night with Louise, Rodrigo and Alice in their amazing new place in Portela with stunning views of the city. Louise spoiled me with gin and tonics and a penne with vodka sauce (completely handmade). The only person I didn't get to see off was Erickinha who has been super busy with her new course on top of work schedule. Though we made up for it with an intense catch up session and wooed at all the possibilities on both our horizons. And all throughout i've been trying to catch up on the blog in order to share with you all of my amazing steps along the way. With many more steps to come…
