Hello Lisboa.

Flew into a fog-filled Lisbon today, something I’ve heard is not the norm. The small glimpses I've gotten through winding, cobblestone streets so far are adorable. Padarias (bakeries) filled with afternoon cafezinhos and fairly empty Lisbon streets thanks to those Sunday vibes. The city basically shuts down for a day of rest, something I will easily be on board with.

It's chillier than I expected, more so indoors, where there are no heating systems outside of small space heaters. I’m sure to become an expert at layering sooner than soon. The good news is that their winter stays around the same temperature as today; 50°F is considered their low.

Portugal is said to have the best weather in Europe. Never too hot. Never too cold. Just right.
